We
bought Trixie from a private owner Riverstone. When she arrived at
Galston we took off her reins and we were never able to get them back on
again. We did not have a clue how to deal with a horse!
No
one
knew how to ride. We would chase her into a corner then one of us would
leap upon her and hold on tightly, not knowing what she would do or
where she would run to (usually to the feed bag!)
